Adams Central Principals on the Roof
On Friday, January 24 when Adams Central takes on Bluffton at home, Adams Central’s Sunshine Society is hoping to raise at least $10,000 dollars more for their Feed my Starving Children MobilePack Event. Currently we have raised $25,204.36 which means we still need about $15,000 to reach the $40,000 goal which would allow students grades K-12 to pack about 160,000 meals for hungry children. Chad Smekens, middle school principal, and Jeff McCullough, high school principal, have agreed to go up on the roof as long as each hour we meet our goal. The hourly goals are as follows:
4:30-5:30 $1,000
5:30-6:30 $2,000
6:30-7:30 $3,000
7:30-8:30 $3,000
8:30-9:30 $1,000
As long as we keep reaching our goal, the principals will stay on the roof, regardless of the cold, rain, wind, sleet, or snow! The principals will give an update every 10 minutes via Facebook Live on the Adams Central Facebook page. Sunshine Society will also be selling Pura Vida bracelets for $6, pickles on a stick for $1, and passing buckets at half-time to raise money to meet these goals. Online donations will also be a part of the hourly goals and can be made at https://give.fmsc.org/adamscentral. Please be sure you are on the Adams Central MobilePack webpage, in order for your donation to go directly to this event. Feed My Starving Children will send you a receipt for tax purposes.
