We know there are lots of concerns about the graduation ceremony and want to provide some additional clarifications. Since Governor Holcomb has paused the implementation of phase 5 of the Indiana Re-entry Plan, we have had to re-evaluate our plan for the graduation ceremony. Upon the advice of our county health officer, ACHS's graduation ceremony has moved outside to the football field. With the heat we have been experiencing, it has also been decided to move the ceremony start time to 8pm. For the outdoor ceremony, graduates will still be limited to the original four guest tickets. Spaces will be marked in the stands indicating where family units may sit. Masks are recommended but are not required.
Graduates should arrive at 6:45 for a walk through of the ceremony.
Due to entry limits, those unable to attend will be able to watch the graduation ceremony via the Berne Witness Webcast https://bernewitness.com/webcast/
In the event of severe weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Hangar. Due to the 250 person limit of Indiana’s Stage 4.5, each graduate would, unfortunately, only be allowed to bring in one guest.
We look forward to honoring our seniors as they end their very unique time at Adams Central!
