Some high school students had the opportunity to study physics at Cedar Point. While waiting in line for the Raptor, they needed to determine the max speed of the ride and the power needed to bring the train to the top of the hill.




Students enjoyed some delicious fresh strawberries with lunch today!

Before Field Day, Mr. Yate's class discussed the importance of good sportsmanship and how we can do that by being a friend to everyone. They ended circle time with a verse and chorus of "You've Got a Friend in Me". https://youtu.be/CbzfKwGm1Dw

Ginger, Corbin, and Morgan cashed in their auction prize from the PTO Basketball Bash. They got to eat lunch with our SRO, Officer Mendoza, and of course, Jet!


Join us Tue. May 23 at 6 pm for our 5th grade Living Legends Wax Museum and graduation. The wax museum will be in the main street hallway and graduation in the Hanger following. Sunshine Society will collect donations to help fund the Feed My Starving Children meal pack event.


The 4th Grade Band Fitting Night will be Wednesday, May 24 from 5-7pm in the MSHS Band Room located near the N5 entrance.


Students in Mrs. Linda Arnold's Health Science course presented their Capstone project to Nurse Donna and Mrs. Isch. They shared first aid information on Stop the Bleed and presented Adams Central with Stop the Bleed kits and training kits.

2nd Graders learned a lot on their visit to the courthouse!





4th grade students had fun performing at their Indiana History program.











After learning about the three branches of government, 4th graders listened to Mayor Sprunger of Berne as he talked about his job, local government, answered questions, and weighed in on the chicken nugget vs chicken tender debate. Chicken tenders are superior in his book!


On May 4, several Adams Central High School students were honored by by the Decatur Rotary for their extraordinary scholastic and intellectual achievement. Congratulations to these students on their hard work.


Mrs. Herring’s exchange student (Giorgi) is heading home soon. He came to class to answer questions about his country. He also showed them how to write and say the 33 letters in the Georgian alphabet!


Need a dinner idea for tonight? Come out and support the students going on the Costa Rica Educational Tour in 2024. Back by high demand are Chick-fil-a and Crumbl cookies! They will be available outside of the elementary office starting at 5pm.
