
At the end of October, students visited the University of St. Francis for a campus visit, event, and scholarship competition. Students worked in teams at USF's Brookside Mansion to solve a murder mystery. They worked with various departments such as Math, Biology, Criminal Justice/Criminology, and Psychology. They were also able to work with various Allen County forensic and law enforcement agencies.





Mrs. Shoaf's 5th graders created Thanksgiving recipe books while studying text features/structures. They also studied the history of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, wrote an informative paper, and made balloons (aka upside down marionette puppets).



In early November, juniors participated in a career fair at Bellmont High School. Students visited with over 70 representatives from various businesses, industries, unions, colleges, and military reps. THANK YOU to North Adams for inviting us to participate.

In this project based learning lesson, Kdg students learned from a meteorologist then worked collaboratively to create a way to protect their dolls from the weather.

As a kick off to their STEM-Project Based Learning unit on the weather, kindergarten students were visited by a special guest from Channel 21 who spoke about her work as a meteorologist.

Adams Central held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the renovation to our vocational and science areas. The generous grant by the Don Wood Foundation will help provide students with unique and enriching learning opportunities that support the workforce in our community.
