Introduction to 2D Art students got to tour the galleries at the University of Saint Francis in October. We were guided by gallery director Justin Johnson who spoke about Jim Dine's work and his importance to American Art. We also toured the galleries and spoke with faculty members from animation, graphic design, and studio art.





4th graders used their Jet Fuel to earn a chance to come back to Kindergarten. They helped their kindergarten partners from Mrs. Everett's room decorate their Christmas gifts. So many smiles, laughs, and joy!




Mr. Warpup's 7th grade social studies classes learned about the mummification process of Ancient Egypt. Students re-enacted the steps to mummifying a body and finished with wrapping their classmates.

Mrs Miller and Mrs Buchan’s class had their Christmas mystery readers visit them. Students used clues to figure out who the reader was before they came into the room.



5th Dimensions had a busy week before Christmas break started. They performed during lunch and went caroling at Swiss Village.


Mrs. Herring's kindergarten class has guest reader's from Mrs. Miller's 4th grade class.

Mrs. Jackson's art students worked with Java Bean to create holiday themed coffee sleeves for Java Bean to share with their customers and help spread some holiday cheer.

New Jet Spotlight: Ms. Taylor Thomas has joined our elementary staff as a special needs assistant. Welcome, Taylor!


On Wednesday, Reece Sprunger bowled a 202, a 212, and a 176 for a 590 series at Hoosier Conference Boys Singles. This earned him a spot in Regional Singles Bowling to be held in January. Reece is the first bowler from Adams Central to move on to regionals! Congrats, Reece!



Adams Central FFA Chapter won the District 6 Farm Bureau Ag Literacy Challenge which was celebrated at a luncheon in Indianapolis. The chapters pumpkin carving education program, Food for America activities during National FFA Week and their involvement with SWCD and OSU Stone Lab on Lake Erie were recognized for involvement in the community and being an advocate for agriculture and natural resources. Members representing Adams Central Middle School officer team were Cash Rumple-President, Ben Beckner-Vice President, Bo Kohlhagen-Treasurer and Clayton Minnich-Sentinel. This is the second year in a row that Adams Central FFA has won this honor.
