
New Jet Spotlight: Ms. Taylor Thomas has joined our elementary staff as a special needs assistant. Welcome, Taylor!


On Wednesday, Reece Sprunger bowled a 202, a 212, and a 176 for a 590 series at Hoosier Conference Boys Singles. This earned him a spot in Regional Singles Bowling to be held in January. Reece is the first bowler from Adams Central to move on to regionals! Congrats, Reece!



Adams Central FFA Chapter won the District 6 Farm Bureau Ag Literacy Challenge which was celebrated at a luncheon in Indianapolis. The chapters pumpkin carving education program, Food for America activities during National FFA Week and their involvement with SWCD and OSU Stone Lab on Lake Erie were recognized for involvement in the community and being an advocate for agriculture and natural resources. Members representing Adams Central Middle School officer team were Cash Rumple-President, Ben Beckner-Vice President, Bo Kohlhagen-Treasurer and Clayton Minnich-Sentinel. This is the second year in a row that Adams Central FFA has won this honor.

Cody Hawkins is named AC's DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Good Citizen. Peers nominated Cody as he exemplifies all qualities of a DAR Good Citizen: dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. Congratulations to Cody and the other Adams County Good Citizens.

We have two Christmas concerts this week! Wednesday (Dec. 14) is the 6-12 bands and 5th Dimensions choir. Thursday (Dec. 15) at 7pm is the grades 1-3 program. Both events will be at 7pm in the Hangar.

Mrs Millers 4th grade class celebrated Indiana's birthday with cakes filled with information!



Elementary yearbook (PreK-5th) orders are due by Friday, December 16th (there was a misprint on the order forms!) Each yearbook is $23 (please make checks payable to Adams Central), but you can save $5 by ordering online at www.schoolannual.com.
If you need the High School yearbook (Preschool-Seniors), it can be ordered at www.jostens.com or pick up an order form from the MS/HS office or Miss Everett’s room.

During Guidance lessons this week the students played games together learning about teamwork, taking turns, positive sportsmanship, respecting others opinions on how games were played, and problem solving.





Thursday, Dec. 15th Elementary Grades 1,2,3 will be performing Snowmen at Christmas in the Hangar at 7 PM.
A free-will donation to Feed My Starving Children will be collected.


Wednesday, Dec. 14th the AC 6th - 12th grade bands will perform a Christmas Concert along with 5th Dimensions choir at 7pm in the Hangar. A free-will donation of canned goods or non-perishable food items are being collected that evening and given to the Adams County Food Bank.

The boys home basketball game against Wabash is still on for tonight (12/7). The JV game starts at 6pm followed by the Varsity game at approximately 7:30pm. Come out and support the Jets in their season opener.


Emily Schwartz, our own expert AC Jet dancer, came to visit 2nd grade! She talked to the students about different forms of dancing, positions, and showed them her pointe shoes. This will help to prepare them for their trip to the Nutcracker this Friday!
